A Season of Celebrations

The end of May not only ushers in summer, but a season of celebrations. Our summer weekends are filled with invitations for graduations, first communions, Father’s Day and Memorial Day, as well as a couple of our own parties.

Planning a crowd pleasing, gluten free menu does not have to be overwhelming. One of my favorite tricks is to make mini cupcakes out of a standard, two layer cake recipe or boxed mix. Scoop ½ tablespoon of prepared cake batter into a liner filled mini cupcake/muffin pan. Bake according to the recipe directions. Most mini cupcakes will be done baking in 8-15 minutes. A two layer cake recipe will make approximately 75-80 mini cupcakes. Topped with a dollop of frosting, they are ready for everyone to grab.

In the upcoming weeks, we will be featuring party friendly recipes and ideas that will help you feed your hungry party goers. Whether you are feeding six or sixty, you will find something for every occasion.

Delicious, gluten free food without the worry, for all your entertaining needs.
