Happy Cinco De Mayo

Cinco de Mayo is not Mexican Independence Day, but rather celebrates the Mexican Army’s victory on May 5, 1862  over the French Army in the Battle of Puebla. The Mexican army won the battle despite being smaller and ill-equipped. The victory provided a much needed morale boost for the Mexican people.

In the United States, Cinco de Mayo has become a day to celebrate Mexican heritage and traditions. Along with parades, dances and margaritas, it is also a day to enjoy Mexican cuisine.

Our love for Mexican food runs deep. With our gluten free recipes with a Mexican flair, you can celebrate Cinco de Mayo all week long.
