Reindeer Chow

We always leave out cookies out for Santa and this year we wanted to leave a little something for all his helpers too. After all, his reindeer do all the heavy lifting, so they deserve a sweet treat too. Reindeer Chow is a quick, easy recipe to throw together for unexpected company or as a last minute hostess gift.

Feel free to customize this recipe with your favorite flavors to make it your own. If you don’t have one ingredient, use whatever you have on hand. It’s a great way to use up those little bits and pieces in your pantry.

Instructions
  1. Combine the first six ingredients in a large bowl. Mix well.
  2. Melt white chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl 30 seconds at a time, stirring after time, until chips are melted.
  3. Add melted white chocolate chips to bowl and mix well until everything is coated.
  4. Pour mix onto a silicone mat or parchment paper covered baking sheet and spread out evenly. If desired, sprinkle with sanding sugar and sprinkles.
  5. Place baking sheet in the refrigerator for 20 minutes until firm.
  6. Break into small bite size pieces and refrigate in a plastic storage bag until needed.
