One of the things that I love most about working with Jessica is that we get to collaborate. This Watermelon Basil Juice is one of our collaborations.
I really like the combination of pineapple and watermelon, but the juice didn’t have any zing. I was thinking mint, but Jessica suggested basil.
The pineapple and watermelon are lightly sweet and the basil adds a beautiful floral note.

Ingredients
- 1 cup pineapple fresh or frozen
- 1 cup watermelon fresh or frozen
- 1 basil fresh
- 1 cup ice crushed

Instructions
- Chop fruit into small pieces and add to blender with basil.
- Pulse until fruit is broken down and then blend until smooth.
- Add crushed ice, pulsing until broken down and then blending until smooth
- Serve immediately.
